In 1929, a Georgian known as Mr. J.T. Thrasher introduced a unique concept into the business community of Ocean City, Maryland. This creative Southerner proposed a food stand concession that would specialize in only one product: the noble french fry. Meeting with skepticism, Mr. Thrasher, an extremely religious man, forged ahead with his fledgling enterprise. His idea? Simply to produce the best tasting french fry ever eaten—past, present, or future. He did…
YUMMY! Have to have when in OCEAN CITY! Get a bucket and vinegar and enjoy! Thank you guys for amazing French Fries!!
The original and the best. This is the OC favorite I never skip. Come here for simple, fresh fries. Pump your cup full of vinegar, and don’t let you friends trick you into asking for ketchup– they don’t have it.
The $12 large size easily feeds 3-4 people.
Truly some of the absolute best fries you will ever have. Crispy, hot, AMAZING. I don’t care if there is only 5 people or 50 people in line, I’m always making a stop here while in the area. They are definitely fast which helps not minding the line when it is there 🙂
Prepare yourself for a wait, but the wait is well worth it! I went an hour after they opened (11am on Thursday) and there wasnt a line at all. The fries are so simple and delicious. It is becoming a tradition of mine to come here every year and get these! So go on and treat yourself! You won’t be disappointed!
Thrasher’s is still just as good as it was when you were a kid! You know ya wanna cover those things in cider vinegar… Go on, do it! The trick is still to try and eat em all before the vinegar eats thru the bottom of your cup! 😉
Words escape me when it comes to how much I love Thrasher’s French Fries. They are a must anytime I come up to visit my parents. You must try them and see for yourself why EVERYONE loves them.
Watch the Line!
